Rent-A-Center 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

ELIGIBILITY

Employees are eligible to enter the Plan after:

  • Completing 90 Days of Service

ENTRY

Employees may enter the Plan:

  • At the first of any month

EMPLOYEE DEFERRALS

Participants may elect to defer through payroll deductions:

  • 1% to 50% of compensation
  • Increments of 1%

DEFERRAL CHANGES

Participants may change the amount of their salary deferrals:

  • At any time Online or by Phone,
  • Changes made before Thursday at 3pm CT will become effective on the following Friday's paycheck

COMPANY CONTRIBUTION

Rent-A-Center will match your contribution to the Plan. Currently the matching contribution is:

  • The company will match the first 4% of your contributions at 50%.

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION

Participants may complete a new Beneficiary Designation Form that revokes any prior:

  • At any time

VESTING

Vesting refers to that portion of the company contributions each participant has a right to receive upon termination of employment. Vesting is based upon Years of Service with the Company according to the following schedule:
